Al-Shakaa, has been making the Al-Jamal Soap for more than 140 years. Al-Jamal Soap (meaning “the camel” in Arabic), is a Nabulsi soap produced in one of the two soap factories in Nablus in West Bank, Palestine. Palestine is said to be the birthplace of olive oil and is home to some of the world’s oldest olive trees - some as old as 5,000 years. Using this virgin olive oil, which is sourced locally from Palestine, Al-Shakaa hand makes this natural soap. It’s completely plant-based with only three ingriedients, olive oil, water, and lye. There is no scent, or perfume added. The soap has multiple uses, from using it as skincare, and as shampoo, to washing clothes as a laundry detergent and removing stains.

Have used this soap for ages. Its the only soap my body will tolerate. Lots of suds & keeps my skin and hair soft & not itchy.

I love the way this bar refreshes the pores on my skin; it’s a good feel and smell, very natural. Plus that bar of soap last me a good while. Exited to see the Journey of this soap company; staying fresh is what the bar tends to do.
I do know that the guy that sources me bars of soap when I could get them; is a really good guy, at peace and is good with musical taste tones and instruments ! And yes I’m just a regular customer.
