Each bar is crafted using natural ingredients, aged for over 7 months, and cut by hand using ancient methods passed down for centuries.

Aleppo Soap originated in the ancient Syrian city of Aleppo, one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities, with a history spanning over 8,000 years. Known for its strategic position as the endpoint of the Silk Road, Aleppo thrived on trade, connecting the East and West long before the rise of sea trade routes.

The city’s iconic soap, crafted by merchant families for centuries, has remained unchanged in both formula and production. Made from olive oil, bay oil, water, and sodium hydroxide, the soap is heated, cooled, cut, and aged in the shade for at least seven months. During this time, it transitions from green to its signature brown color.

We have partnered with the Jebeili family to offer you Aleppos highest quality bar of soap. Crafted by artisans and true to tradition of Syrian Soapmakers.

This soap is made with olive oil, laurel oil, water, and lye — no perfumes, preservatives, or artificial chemicals. Available in three variations to suit different skin needs:

Choose Your Laurel Oil Strength:

0% Laurel Oil (100% Olive Oil):
The mildest formula — ideal for very sensitive skin, and fragrance-free skincare routines.

20% Laurel Oil:
A balanced blend that gently cleanses while offering light antibacterial support. Great for normal to dry skin.

40% Laurel Oil:
The most potent version, known for its natural antiseptic, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. Recommended for acne-prone, oily, or eczema-affected skin.

Olive Oil Soap from Aleppo

Even without considering the social, historical and economical importance of supporting these traditional soap makers from Syria to Palestine, it's just wonderful soap. The texture and feel, like a creamy olive oil, hydrating and cleansing. My skin is noticeably softer, and that's really saying something.

Beautiful soap that supports a living heritage

I’ve been using Nabulsi soaps for years they are quality long lasting bars of soap. My new favorite is the organic Al zaytoon brand .
It smells great and is gentle on my face and I use it as shampoo as well . I wanted to try the Aleppo soap to see the difference and it’s way different but in a good way ! I love the earthy scent of the laurel oil it’s also a much larger bar about double the size so makes sense it’s double the price . It can really get the funk out of my pits which other soaps have failed at . Olive soap shop shipped fast too , I’ll definitely order again when I run out in a couple months!
